I would never personally want to see anyone's child taught that torture is a good thing, not yours and not mine.
I am realistic an honest enough to admit there are times and places where i believe torture would be not only appropriate but necessary.
of course i'm also not a republican

Another one-sided argument.
You say nothing of all those "poor, unfortunate" families that forget to teach their kids how to be decent human beings, yet you rant on and on about torture being a good thing to Republicans? We're the ones who want to kill people who torture and murder. To put it bluntly. : )
*EDIT* I mean, put them in the electric chair after murdering and raping a family instead of sticking them in in a rehab hoping they''ll get better.
And wtf are you talking about? Teaching kids that? Most of the "do-good" stuff kids have to put up with is set forth by you "humanitarian" liberals. Alright, if the teacher says she isn't paid enough to mother her students, then why do they teach all that "building-character" garbage? It's not even genuine character either; the more you cram it down kids' throats, the more they'll puke it up.

Nope. I don't think they do. Now, regarding Democratic values - do you Democrats think it's ok to teach your children that gay marriage, abortion on demand, and learning how to use a condom at age 10 is a good thing?
