Angiographic images are radiographic pictures (X-rays) of blood vessels. A catheter is inserted into the vein or artery, and a contrast material is injected. (It is sometimes referred to as a "dye", but it is actually a substance which absorbs the rays to some degree, therefore appearing white against the darker surrounding tissue.) The placement of the catheter will determine which vessels are visualized. (Your category says space, so I am hopeful that my answer is the one you are seeking.)
