Dirk Nowizki because he wins games. Kg has great stats but Dirk comes up big when it counts the most. Dirk is un-guardable, he's like a 7 foot shooting guard. As good as KG is, his team has only once passed the first round of the playoffs, and the last couple of years he's hasnt even made the playoffs. Yeah his teams arent great but If he's that good his team should at least make the playoffs. Look at the Lakers this year, or Memphis last year, those got about the same amount of talent as the Twolves and they've won alot more games.. Too many times he doesnt come up big in the clutch, while Nowizki takes over the games in crutch time. But Tim Duncan is better than both those guys, he dominates at both ends of the floors and makes his teammates better, and he's got 3 rings.

Dirk, he can post up the little guys and take the bigger guys to the hoop and score. Dirk is a winner and makes his teammates better, well at least better than what Garnett does. Garnett needs to get traded to a team with another all-star.

i dont know. its pretty even. many people will say dirk, but its kind of unfair because he looks good now (because his TEAM is great right now). however, garnett just isnt showing any spirit or life anymore, so dirk would be the answer. he is more versatile on offense. however, if i was to pick any power forward right now, it would be Tim Duncan. the guy is phenominal. he can dominate from outside, inside (something dirk cant do), on the boards, or defensively. garnett is similar, but like i said, he looks like he's given up. doesnt have the enthusiasm. duncan has the rings, the mvps, and has come through i the clutch

Garnett easily
Dirk scores a little more but only a couple points
Garnett kills him in rebounds and is a lot better defender with the skills to bring the ball up the floor and he can run an offense and is a lot better passer
overall Garnett is the better player and better option to start a team around. Put them with equal talent and the Garnett team wins

garnett of course.
he's a more of a all around type of player. he can play any positions on the court. no disrespect to dirk, but garnett is a better player than him. it's just unfortunate for him to play in not so good of a team

It depends on whether or not your looking from a franchise point of view, fantasy basketball, or a one season deal. Dirk will put up more points (good for fantasy) and can lead a team, as he has displayed. However, if you wont rebounds, blocks, an x-factor, consistency, and experience, I will take a well-proven KG anyday.

KG
Garnett by far is the more polished player as far as rebounding, passing and team leadership. Its just that Dirk has a better supporting cast then KG and that makes it easier for him.Dont get me wrong Dirks got game I just dont think its as complete as KG's
