she wont get in touch with me and i can't get in touch with her. She refuses to speak with me. Its not too late to do something about this but it will be soon. can I get a lawyer involved? What kind of letter could he send her? Something saying she has to contact me with information pertaining to a pregnancy test? Could the court force her to get a pregnancy test? is there anything a lawyer can do?

You can't make her tell you if she's pregnant. You can't make her have an abortion. The baby (if there is one) is in her body, and you really have very few rights...until it is born, if she proves to be an unfit parent, you could get custody. If she is pregnant, you will probably know, because she will have a lawyer hit you up for a paternity test and child support. No one can make a woman share the fact of whether or not she is pregnant, unless she is saying she IS pregnant and wants child support. Then they will make her take a test, but until she makes the action, there's not much you can do.

Nope YOU can't do anything at this point. What are you expecing a lawyer to do? No one can FORCE a woman to get a pregnancy test. And since you don't know whether she is or not you don't even know if it would be YOUR child she was pregnant with anyway. You simply have to wait until it is born and she files for child support.

honestly no you can't force her to do a thing at this point. If she is give her some space she may need to think without everyone buggin her... I've been there and i stopped talkin to everyone for awhile i had to clear my head. This is a huge thing for her so don't push if she's 6 weeks max you have 30 plus weeks left to talk to her.

No, it would be nice if men could sign away their fatherly rights in a figurative abortion, but alas, it's women who have the choice. If she doesn't want to contact you until she needs child support, she can do that. Sucks eh?

yes go speak with a lawyer because if you are positive that this baby is yours then you still have some rights over the unborn child but not over her reproductive rights, so yes go get advice in this situation you are having...................Remember if this unborn child is yours you do have a right!!!!!
