Balimore...I was referring to the fact that since 2000, US has outscored the MNT 13-0 and believe they are something like 8-0-2.

CMichael4...while I appreciate your lame excuse, it doesn't hold water. The Mexicans are 3 or 4 weeks into their season, so they should be in shape...How could the US have been practicing for weeks with so many players coming from England/Europe? Any other ideas? Still doesn't excuse poor sportmanship.

Bitter rivals? There are rivalries greater than this and somehow most of them find a way not to make it personal and give the other team credit for a victory...It was 2-0, but i bet all the Mexican media is talking about is the ref causing the US to score...Forget that Donovan put a move on two defenders and the GK...E. Johnson should have knocked him out for trying to slide tackle him like that...someone could get seriously hurt.

I am not condoning any rude behavior from the US Team...they should be good sports too...I went to bed right after the game, so wasn't aware of what happened at any press conferences or anything...LD is an ******** anyway.

US matches really well against Mexico. However, I still think Mexico is the better team as Mexico can compete better with higher level teams like the Brazils, Argentinas, etc. However, US poses a lot of matchup problems for Mexico and US definetly has Mexico's number whether at home, away or on a different planet. They beat Mexico convincingly in the 02 WC so the "home" excuse doesnt fly.

The U.S. players had every right to ignore the Mexican reporters. Did anyone see how the Mexicans treated the U.S. players in Mexico City last year? Mothers, fathers, grandparents and their kids spitting and yelling obscenities. These are people with a much different culture that simply doesn't fit in the U.S. BTW, last time I checked the crowd was moving north, not south. Why is that?
And as for the argument that the Mexican team only had three days to train? You have to be kidding me? Every Mexican player is in the middle of their season and are very much in shape. Only one or two U.S. players that were there tonight are playing right now.

properly i don't love the shown reality that the Mexican communities can ought to play as vacationing communities both video games. in the journey that they could't play in Mexico the CONMEBOL ought to a minimum of supply the Mexican communities the alternative of the position they decide on to play or a minimum of leave it in CONCACAF territory. case in element if this grow to be the case, better than probably Chivas ought to play in Carson residing house of their little brother Chivas u . s . a .. it should be a lot less of a visit and ought to have a fan base, this kind that is actual not this style of downside for the team. in the journey that they were to play in Columbia who tha hell is going to demonstrate screen the video games? San Luis can play in Chicago because the hearth and u . s . a . grew to grow to be allies. as well i'm particular better people ought to confirm San Luis play in Chicago than they could in the journey that they performed in Columbia. Saludos..........

Look at their coach. Hugo Sanchez was one of the dirtiest and classless players of his time. Maybe his attitude is rubbing off on every body else. If you are going to be like that, you have to have the talent to back it up. Talented players have usually the tact ot be honorable losers and show class when they win and lose. Both teams were lacking yesterday.

It's lack of class. The Mexicans are infamous for diving, cheap shots and playing dirty. Sanchez (GK) has always been a wanker and tonight's game shows what a scumbag he is. Not shaking hands after the game is also rediculous. What a bunch of dirty, classless people.
The team and the way they play is just an extension of their society in whole....

Because they don't know the meaning of class. The Mexican goalkeeper trying to trip the American player after the second goal was another fine example.
By the way Mexican fans...cheer for the country you live in. If you love Mexico so much, go live there! 99% of the American fans had ancestors that came from somewhere else, yet we cheer for Team USA. Why? Because we love the country we live in!
No, the American players did not ignore reporters after the game. What channel were you watching? Was I the only one that saw them interview the American playe?
To everyone that gives me a thumbs down - truth hurt?

dominated once again??? Mexico has won most of the games to the US when they play here, (check the statistics). Don't get me wrong I am happy the US won, the didn't play as good as they should have, but they got lucky!! and about the players from Mexico refusing to shake hands...I think they were just thinking on what was going to happen to them when they see Sanchez, ouch!...
USA! USA! USA!

It comes from the same place as Sanchez, the Mexican keeper, taking a lunge at the American player's foot as he ran by after the US goal was scored. They can't handle the fact that the US team is better than they are and have been for quite a few years now.
