You are lying in your bed and you get a charlie horse in your leg all of a sudden?
do you move your leg around until it stops hurting?
do you keep your leg still until it stops hurting?
do you try to get up walk on it until it stops hurting?
do you just moan and make faces until it stops hurting?

this happens to me sometimes while i am sleeping...just wondering what everyone else does in this situation

i do all those things eventually it stops, so i really dont know which one works.

i don't know if its a charlie horse for sure, but whatever it is when it happens it hurts so bad i can't make a sound or even move, but it usually doesn't last long and hasn't happened in a long time thankfully. when it does happen its when i'm in a very deep sleep.

I straighten it out as much as I can...It might hurt worse, but it always seems to make the pain go away quicker for me

i stretch my leg out, and if it doesn't stop hurting i get up and walk around.

I have to get up and walk it off, it makes the pain go away much faster.

I take my thumb and forefinger and pinch my upper lip just below my nose as hard as I can. Sounds strange, but it works. Try it next time.

walk it off its healthy to keep the blood circulating and your muscles are stiff
