No. The only thing you could risk losing is important data or stuff that you want to keep, but if your like me and back up everthing its ok. The other thing you might have to make sure you do is download all of the updates and fixes that are available for your software. Other than that i don't see a problem, and in fact i try to do it on my desktop comp at least every year. Hope this helps

Well if you are worried about damaging your computer then dont be. Recovery CD's or installation doesn't pose any harm to the hardware. In fact it keeps your system fast and healthy. But one of the answers given to you says it right that you should make a copy of recovery CD or you will be in big trouble.

I would say not to do it unless absolutely necessary, but I don't have strong proof against doing it.
Restoring your computer frequently is a pain; you either have to keep an excellent mirror of your most precious files, or you have to be willing to part with them on a quarterly basis. I, personally, don't like restoring my computer for that very reason. I don't like losing all the information I accumulate, but as an Information Systems Management major, I realize that problems occur, so I back up all of my important information to an external hard drive.
It is in your favor (thinking of productivity and convenience) to just keep your computer running properly. If you will elaborate on the reasons for having to restore your computer that often, I may be able to make some suggestions on how to better protect your system, thereby preventing the need to restore the computer so often.

It sounds love that's snarled. I had to do a gadget restoration (8 disks) a at the same time as in the past on a pc and it took particularly a at the same time as, however the disks consistently went in sequential order, in no way from disk 2 lower back to disk a million, and so on.

Not at all. I used them a lot when I was learning how to use computers. The only thing that can happen is that your disks might get scratch for the continuous use.
Good luck

I really don't think so but I would make a copy of the cd just in case it gets corrupted and you really need it.
