No. It was wrong to execute him. I agree that he did do bad things during his time. But the video taken from the camera phone showed people taunting him and laughing at him. That was not justice. The taunting showed that it was not justice, but revenge. He was also judged unfairly. The majority of the court was Shiites. They wanted revenge as much as the next person. That is why they rejected his appeals. He should have been punished, but not like this.

The execution of Sadam was right because he committed many mass killings against the Kurds and oppositionists.

No, he was already 69 years old and already attained a senior citizen status, in many countries the age is 60 or maximum 65. After this age, capital punishment is not justified. Nothing is achieved by killing him, justice is not done. It just adds one more sin to this world, already overloaded with sin.

Saddam can no longer exploit the people of Iraq. He is not living in rich gluttony while his people starve. His country may be in a more chaotic state but when oppressed people finally are liberated, they get a little outta hand.

No, even if Saddam was not a person good enough to live I personally feel that capital punishment whether to Saddam or anyone else is not a suitable task. Saddam's execution shows that not only Bin Laden but President Bush too is a demon.

No. It was sad. And it made it's executioners look bad. If that's the BEST we can do to "punish" world leaders that go amuck- I wonder what will be OUR sentence when we stand before "Allah"...
