Some people just don't feel the need to get together. Casual updates with Chritmas Cards, emails, etc. are enough. It doesn't mean she doesn't still consider you a friend....just doesn't need to be social. 30 years is a long time. Sounds like you've grown apart. And that's OK!

You gotta try to understand her. There must be a reason why she does not want to talk to you or she may be really busy. Just let her know that you're the best friend and you put confidence in what your friend said. She'll probably want to have a chat with you someday.

I would bet you that her life is very, very busy right now and it is difficult to find time to unwind with even old and best friends. If you are truly her friend, you will wait until she needs to see you.

I have actually ceased being friends with certain people through the years because our interests changed, our lives were full of different types of stressors, and, in one instance, because I was simply worn out from supporting a long-time friend through another on-going role of drama queen.

Maybe she is just really busy. I get that from my friends all the time. The hours just seem to slip away sometimes.

leave her alone. You might be annoying, just let her get ahold of you. and don't worry, it might take a while but she will eventually, if your not a jerk lol.
