can someone tell me some information about the religion in hamlet.....

well, i'm in the process of reading it so i'm not sure what religeon it is exactly, but i can tell you that he's suicidal but doesn't kill himself because his religeon forbids it... sorry i can't be of more help...

There was a religious burial(barely)of Ophelia.The Queen comforted Hamlet by telling him all things must die passing thru nature into eternity.Hamlet's father's ghost told Hamlet he was in purgatory. Hamlet planned to kill the king while he was unshriven.Horatio held his sword as a cross(upside down)in front of Hamlet's body as he was borne to the top of the tower.All called on God to keep each other safe on trips from Denmark. I can think of no more!
