How long between is it that he's having his bottles and solids? maybe if u don't want to give him more food then try and space out the bottles and the solids he's already getting. If that's not working then maybe try a biscuit (plain) or two or something similar for morning and afternoon tea. You probably wouldn't want to give him anything to filling so he will still eat his normal meals at his normal times.

I think some people are confused by your reference to morning and afternoon "tea" but I am guessing you are from the UK or a former British colony and are simply using that word the way Americans might refer to a coffee break even if they don't actually drink coffee?
So presumably, you mean a midmorning and midafternoon snack in addition to 3 regular meals - and that is absolutely fine, actually it's recommended for infants that they eat when they are hungry. You might want to alternate starting with the bottle and starting with solid foods - if you start with the same thing each time, he will fill up on that. So give a full meal for breakfast and then a bottle, as much as he wants and then reverse that for midmorning snack, give the bottle first and if he still is hungry, give some solid foods (lots of great suggestions with all the other answers so he can get a nice variety!).

My son is 8 months old and he has 2 big meals (morning and dinner) and for lunch he has a smaller meal. He has 2 snacks which consist of Gerber veggie and fruit puffs or cheerios and 4 bottles throughout the day. I've tried pasta spirals and cheese but he does not like the texture yet, I guess he's not ready. Good luck!

You can not give your 8 month old tea at all. but just three meals and 3 bottles a day is not enough. Babies need to eat more often than adults. inbetween meal you can give him cheerio's fruit puffs, ect. (Gerber has a very good selection on baby snacks).

At 8 months old you should be feeding him baby food. Breakfast lunch, dinner, snacks. Give him some finger foods that gerber makes. Or if he gets hungry in between meals give him baby friuts or veggies. Anthing that he can eat, that is healthy for him would be great.
Everyone forgot to mention cheerios and kix. Cheerios and kix are good for babies and kids.

What kind of "solid meals"?Baby food? Give him cereal (baby ,that is) and with some vitamin D enriched milk mixed in and the bottles containing Vit. D milk and some real food, like what you eat but cut up in small bites so he can pick it up and feed himself is what ya need to give him,. Tea will not fill up anyone. MILK , REAL MILK AND REAL FOOD IS WHAT THE BOY NEEDS

I would try giving him these little stars baby snacks that are made by Gerber. The reason is because they more or less dissolve in the baby's mouth and their small enough to where he can learn how to pick his food up and feed himself. They come a fruit and vegetable flavor.

try small snacks like gerber baby cookies and the little sausages that gerber makes and if that dosent work u need to make a daily eating routine that he will eventually get used to it may take a while but just try it.
