I just finished reading "Dante's Inferno" for my history class and for my 7 page paper, I had to discuss Dante's idea of the greatest sin imaginable.
Your turn...which sin would be in the 9th layer and therefore last circle of hell receiving personaly attention from Dis?

I think that Child molestation,rape,murder,and anything else that's done bad to children is the worst.

speaking in terms of Christianity...the only unforgivable sin in the Bible is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit...i don't know if this is the greatest, but maybe it is the worst...this could be said of satan because he knew the Glory of the Kingdom of Heaven and he refused it, as well as Judas because he knew the Glory of Jesus and yet he sold him out...

I don't believe in sin the way that most people do, to me it's just something you have to account to God for, but if I did believe, it would have to be murder, with child molestation right there behind it.

well, if u want me to get technical... if he said the greastest comandment wus love, then the worst sin must be the complite opposite of that, so i guess that is not loving, or hating God and ur neighbor
