Rise over run. First, you need 2 points. Take the y value of one point, and subtract it from the y value of the other point. Negatives are ok. That number is your numerator. Then, take the x value from the same first point, and subtract it from the other point's x value. THis number is your denominator. Simplify the fraction, and change to decimal is at all possible. That is your slope.

m = slope
b = y-intercept
