I restarted my computer back to original factory settings, and am now unable to get my printer re-installed. I have tried using the CD-ROM and downloading drivers from the HP website, but nothing seems to work. I keep getting the message that the drivers are not recognized and the setup/installation fails each time.
Any ideas on how I can get this working again?
I appreciate any helpful suggestions - thanks.

Go to HP.com and download the drivers from there. Also most printers now are plug and play which means the computer will recognize the new hardware and automatically install it without the need for the installation CD.

Another way to do it is to go to a BestBuy and see the GeekSquad. They will probably copy the drivers for your onto your own disk for free.

Check the web that is the easiest way.

Good luck.
