You WILL NOT get a positive on a pregnancy test because of birth control. It is true that birth control works by convincing your body not to ovulate by making it think you are pregnant, but this is done with a combination of estrogen and progesterone, NOT hcg, which is the only thing a home urine test tests for. If it comes up positive, you have hcg...if you have hcg, you are pregnant, and a positive on a home test is 99.5% accurate. So if you got two positives, it's VERY likely you're pregnant. Please go to the doctor and make sure!
About the birth control hurting the baby...they have now determined that babies who are conceived while their mohters are using hormonal birth control do not have a higher rate of defects than babies whose mothers aren't...meaning it has no effect. Birth control will only stop you from ovulating, not kill or hurt a baby who is alreaady conceived. If it worked that way, people would use the pill and the shot, in normal doses, for abortions!
Best of luck to you.

it is a big possibility that u may be pregnant despite the fact you are on the shot if u took 2 tests that came out positive u should go request an ultrasound that way u will know if theres a baby inside you i wouldnt trust any birth control. my mother had her tubes tied and still got pregnant. in most cases birth control can make u miscarry if it is high in hormones but i wouldnt worry just discontinue using it and it is a fact that once u quit the shot it stays in your system for like a year then u go back normal.

you should go see your doctor as you could be pergnant, birth control is not 100% effective. it is not proven that taking birth control while you are pregnant will hurt the baby so you should be okay, although depo hasnt been around very long so we may not know the full effects. it would be best for you to stop getting the shot and see your doctor for a blood test. but you wouldnt feel the baby moving until like 4-5 months

Only really way to tell is by blood test. Go to your local Family Planning clinic or GP. You definitely could be, some of the symptoms sound familiar to me. But remember you can also "talk" you body into believing you are pregnant. Put you self at ease and go find out for sure. Good luck.

Yes the birth control can hurt the baby, you need to go to the doctor because you are probably pregnant and there may be something wrong if you are cramping that bad. A little cramping is normal when you are pregnant. If you are young you can go to your local planned parenthood and they can help you with anything or any questions you might have.

First stop with the bcs. Then call a clinic and ask for a free pregnancy test. Also go to the doctor you have and ask for another test and then if it comes out + ask for a obgyn. If you are pg then congrats and if you aren't don't freak out.
