Google is only in Japanese, Mapquest does not have the detail and the one road atlas is only to 1:250,000 scale (have already purchased a copy). I'm looking for something like google in the US where I can get street detail and driving instructions.

Many bookstores sell maps. Check out Borders, or Barnes & Noble.

AAA...they have lots of travel information and lots of current maps.
