I hope so... Even more than that, I hope we have our first female president soon. Maybe I'm being sexist with this statement, but I can't imagine our foreign policy being so gung-ho with a woman in the White House.

Whether the president is white, black, or female, I really hope we elect a president that can...

1. Concentrate on domestic goals (economic mostly)
2. Unite us with the rest of the world (make every country NOT hate America)

We should be so lucky. Unfortunately the power mongering elitest slugs who really run the show won't allow it. Most of the good old boy club who dominate economic policy around the world are still so white it hurts your eyes to look at them. We are at least 50 years away from a brother becoming the man.

Now a woman becoming the man is a real possibility. Especially if the man behind the woman is Bill Clinton. Hillary scares the republicans to death, they may have to run Condy just to save face, and it that happens we might get both the first African American and first woman in the white house at the same time.

Then again Bush might have an attack of conscience and pull out all the troops in Iraq, send them to New Orleans to help rebuild the American infrastructure instead of stealing as much as his final two years will allow too. Unlikely.

African Americana? Are you suggesting a black woman in 2008?
No way Condi Rice will be elected or even nominated.

If the Democrats nominate Obama, he'll get my vote, but I doubt he'll win the nomination. Almost any Democrat will be able to win in 2008, although the Republicans will give a tough fight.

Let's have both our first Black president and our first female president in one package... Dr. Rice!

Look, I like Obama as a guy. He is attractive, charismatic, and well spoken. But his record is far too liberal for my liking. It's actually even more liberal than Hillary's. But she's a chameleon and has changed so much since her time in office that I can't pin down who she really is. It seems like she has "changed", or rather morphed, into what she thinks people will be most likely to vote for. I just don't trust her. I haven't seen a republican candidate I'm excited about yet either.

Obama is a joke. I hope Democrats are stupid enough to vote for him over Hillary. That would seal it for Republicans in 08'. No, we will not have our first African American president for a long time, if ever, unless Rice ever decided to run, which probably won't happen.

Not Obama anyways. If there was an African prez on the ballot I would vote for Condy! And for statistical purposes only, w/f/33/m

In 08? No. Slick Willie, Hildabeast & the Clintonists will not allow anyone other than Hildabeast to get the nomination. They will stop at nothing.

Yes, definately one day, and probably within the next 30 years (remember terms last a long time which is why I say 30). But Obama Osama Osaki Oklahoma or whatever his name is won't be it. He can put on a good show, though.

Not if your voting for him because of that. A prime example of why you don't pay attention to color or sex when voting for or against someone.
