It's just another smoke screen to make Americans feel 'safe'. And what I want to know is who are they locking out or locking in?

Well I would not say its like the barn door comparision since every day ppl are trying to get across the border in a never ending flow.
I am a supporter of it especially since our own troops are being kept from defending themselves and unarmed guarding it... we do not need mall guards at the border, a wall would slow the flow and channel it to a few areas that could be covered more easily also with security cameras actions of those crossing and defending the border could be monitored so that fair treatment in problems and trials could be maintained

It is a nominally effective part in getting control of the illegal immigration problem.
In the end though, it was a token gesture that was believed it would satisfy those who have America's best interest in mind.

i think they need to stop trying to shut out the rest of the world!! they are just looking for trouble and waiting for something bad to happen!! they should leave well enough alone.
