how old are babys when you don't have to burp them any more??

They are all different and depends on when they start on solids etc.
At a rough guess (I can't remember) but about 9 months.

It really depends on the baby. I'd say in most cases it would be around six months. That's about how old my kids were when I stopped. I know others who's babies were only 4 months old. So I'd say the average is between 4-6 months.

You'll be able to tell when it's a good time to stop. Sometimes they'll just let out a big burp on their own and surprise you.....Other times they won't stop crying because they can't get rid of the "bubble" until you help.

My daughter started burping herself around 3 1/2 months I don't know the average age though.

Mine was about 6 months- usually when they are sitting up well they will burp on their own.

When they can sit up -unassisted. Then they can burp themselves. There is no specific month we can say, as it is different for each baby. =o)

when you sit them up and they burp themselves i think both of mine were 3 or 4 months and i would sit them up from a feeding and they would belch on their own

its up to your baby when she starts passing her gas without any help. prob between 6 and 8 mos
