You can use the ATO's free electronic lodgment system (etax) anywhere you can obtain Internet access...BUT as it is almost 12 months since close of the 05 financial year etax may no longer be available as it has (at least in the past) had a finite window of opportunity. Go to the ATO website www.ato.gov.au and check out whether etax is still available.
Unless you have an extension to lodge you should have lodged by last OCTOBER and would be looking at penalties for late lodgment and interest on any amounts outstanding. You really should have got to the matter sooner than this!

I saw Australia on there. Are you in the US or filing US taxes? Try irs.gov and search for a 2005 1040 and print it out. Your return can only be mailed and cannot be electronically filed for '05. Any other US tax questions I can help. I am an office manager for Jackson Hewitt Tax Services.

I do believe you have to do a paper return if it's an old tax return. That's in Australia.

Jail - the last chance for extensions in the US passed already. Just kidding, go to HRBLOCK.COM or something, if it's fairly standard you should be able to wrap it up in no time at all.

I'm not really sure, I'm not allowed to do my own taxes.
