I just recently started bathing my daughter every night. She is 4 months old. I would say I started at 3 months. I started giving her baths at 7:30 every night as the beginning of our bedtime routine. It has worked out wonderfully btw. Oh but even though I give her a bath every night now, I still dont give her a "full" bath. I only wash her hair ever other night, sometimes 2x a week. I wash her every other day and on the opposite days I wipe her clean but just with a wet cloth and water. Too much soap and shampoo can dry out baby skin and lead to cradle cap.. even on the skin--and that stuff is gross to look at and get rid of! So you are fine in bathing her once a week but when you are ready to establish a nighttime routine I would highly recommend the bath as part of it. Even if you do not wash her "fully." Hope all that makes sense! Have fun!

Every day or Every second day .. how would u feel if u had a bath one day a week, not very nice. Yes there only little but they still sweat and would feel dirty. My 2mth old seems more relaxed & content after her bath which i usually give her in the evening before bed.

Every other day worked well for us. Our daughter has pretty sensitive dry skin - a tub bath every other day, and a wipe-down with a washcloth in between kept her skin from getting too irritated. Especially when the air is so dry, like in the wintertime, every other day is more appropriate than a daily bath.

I've always bathed my kids every second day from the time they were infants. Some people say it's too drying for their skin but I've never found it to be a problem. When my babies got older, and it was hot in the summer I would let them bath every evening so they weren't sleeping in the day's sweat.

I would probably bathe her every 2-3 days. It's not hot outside and unless she spits up or poops really badly, I wouldn't worry too much about it. But you should watch to make sure she doesn't get cradle cap....

babies don't stink like we do i normally give mine (20 month old an 5 month old) a bath every other day sometimes every 3 days between baths (depending on how many bowl movements cause then their little butts stink :) its not good for their sensitive skin to get one everyday but my youngest gets milk in her little jelly rolls under her chin and it gets crusty and smells so i try to give her one every other day

I didn't start bathing my daughter more than once a week until 4 months but I did clean her in between with just a wipe or a wash cloth.
