don't you know who marlee matlin is? she was miss america several years ago and an award winning actress. absolutely, yes! you can be a model. i think it is extreme discrimination that an agency turned you down for this reason. if you are really certain that your rejection was due to your hearing aids, you should call the better business bureau and complain. keep it the goal. good luck.

Sure, I think you should go for it. The great thing about hearing instruments these days is that they are nearly invisible. You could just be a spokesperson for the company whose product you wear. If you look great wearing hearing instruments that would be wonderful advertisement for the hearing aid company. Kudos to you, go get your dream!

If they turn you down because you are hard-of-hearing... then they are really prejudiced.

I mean, if Fabio Lanzoni (I'm just using a name randomly here, after googling the net, I don't know many model names) were hard-of-hearing, would HER modelling agency have turned her down? Probably NOT. And if they did, then they were probably really stupid, because according to http://www.famousnamechanges.net/html/models.htm, she wasn't too shabby.

Trust me, they probably WON'T turn you down. If they turn you down only because you are hard-of-hearing, then that is the most stupid thing I've ever heard of.

Sure, go for it:) Don't let your hearing impairment stand in the way of your dreams. Remember, a few years back, there was a Deaf Miss America. Good luck to you:)

Absolutely go for it ! They would probably love to have you ! With the new awareness of "otherly abled" people in the U.S. at least it would probably be a plus to help you get your foot in the door. You might feel funny about that but in something as cut throating competetive as modeling I would use any advantage. It would be very good promotion to use models with disabilities in most people's eyes. I would be more likely to buy from that company, but not out of pity ! I would buy from them because they are socially progresive and unprejudice. GO FOR IT ! Peace.

If it's what you want then definately do it. I don't think they will put you down unless they have some problem with deaf people. In that case they aren't worth it. That's not fair and they don't deserve to have your talent! That's my advice. You can be whoever you want to be. My best friend's deaf and almost no one doesn't like him.

you get what you pay for... the best ones value funds. yet to get the most of what you pay for do not flow for large variety names which includes sony, apple or you eventually end up procuring the emblem. do not purchase no call manufacturers because they haven't any high quality criteria. flow and purchase mid manufacturers which includes altec lansing.
