I would say so, I've had one for 5 years now and have never had any problems with it besides the fan going out a few months ago. But that wasn't a big deal. It runs smoothly and everything. I'm planning on getting new HP pavilion soon..

doesn't it have to have a remote or extras to work properly, I fixed a computer that had this on it. the person was upset to find out that she needed to pay extra for the accessories. remember watching movies and playing games are best done on such things as DVD player and gaming hardware, such as playstations.
