How can I make skinny jeans out of regular jeans instead of buying some?

I would love to have some AFFORDABLE skinny jeans, so most of my friends tell me to make some from my regular jeans. I want to know how do I actuall do that without ruining my pants.

all you have to do is bring the jeans that you have to a stylist and they will do it for you and its not expensive as i had it done
all they will do is run down the two inside legs to get it narrow.

If you have some regular jeans that you can practice making the skinnies on, this is what you would do.

Choose the material. Stretchy denims are your best bet. If the material has no stretch on it, it will be impossible to put them on.. Beside, non stretch will leave poofy knees that balloon out and look absolutely horrible when you are standing up..

Choose good quality thread. Sew first before you cut. Then you can repair your mistakes without having to throw out the jeans.

Once you get a good fit, do another one. Two skinny jeans is good enough.

Dont forget, choose the denims with spandex.

if you or your mom know how to sew then all you have to do is open up the pants on the side and then make then tighter/skinnyer on the bottom. if that doesn't work, then go to get them hemed for like 15$ max! good luck and great idea, i've done it around 4 times and i've never been disapointed!

you can buy skinny jeans from like american eagle or hollister or abercrombie. don`t need to buy super expensive ones.
they`re everywhere&some on sale, too.
but if you wanna make them, i guess you`d have to go to a proffesional tailor or something.
