i have a friend who is very..well vain. he is very good looking since he was very young and people tell him all the time how georgeous he is. he is very nice and sweet to everyone except on this one point, he does this thing were he rates people... like he will tell soemone he just met what he thinks they are on a scale of one to ten...an they just dont know what to think! cause hes not trying to be mean, hes just totally oblivious that it could hurt soemone, since all his life people felt free to tell him what they thought of his looks, and he doesnt know whut it feels like to not be found attractive.
i dont want to hurt his feelings..but i see him hurting other people and he doesnt even know it, i dont know whut to do. we like each other a lot, but we only started to get to know each other better recently, so im not sure if its my place to say anything... can u help me out? thanks so much ♥

i think you should be gentle about it... but firm at the same time... tell him how that if he rated your appearance and if you didn't do so well how it would hurt your feelings...and this is how other people feel as well... deep down... people always know how attractive they are by themselves... they don't need another person pointing out their shortcomings.... if he is a true friend... he will understand and take into consideration your advice...

you really should just talk to him about it, because he needs to know it's wrong. You need to tell him that it's bad to do that. Or, you can work it into a conversation, like if either you or he brings it up, you can say how harmful it is. Tell him in a polite way, though.

Is it possible to gently explain to him that is not up to any of us to judge others. He should be grateful for all his blessings & learn to appreciate others for exactly waht they are.

Good luck.

Why are you worrying if it's your place to say anything? He obviously doesn't care. Tell him he's an idiot.
