find someone that has and knows how to operate a high speed buffer. let them buff it out with compound followed up by 2 stages of polish. should remove it up to 98%.

white foam pad with Finesse II then black foam with polish

I do this daily and for over 18 yrs.

Start with Meguiars (sp) Scratch X first, especially on the area where it's not too deep. Second step is using Polishing Compound as rubbing compound is a little rough. Good Luck

How well it works depends on how deep it is. Be careful with the rubbing compound as it will remove paint. After smoothing it the best you can with rubbing compound, go to a finer polishing compound and then a very fine polish like Meguiars Scratch-X.

Many, many, many times. It may not completely remove the scratch but it will signficantly less noticable. Just apply a small amount on a soft rag and rub in a circular motion. Be sure to remove all the compound when you are done.

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, then you won't be able to get it out with rubbing compound.
