Go to the doctor, and if necessary, have the surgery done to correct it. My mom had the surgery done and it helped her out tremendously.

OK - what does your doctor say? Oh, you haven't been to a doctor. Why am I not surprised?

Carpal tunnel can be eased by sonic massage - wearing a brace to prevent further injury while the injury heals. But it needs a trained therapist and a doctor.

Take two aspirin and call me in the morning.

The only way to ease the problem is to stop the repetitiveness of your hand/arm movements. Once you do this, the problem does lessen in time. There is also an operation available, but my Doctors did not recommend it, although friends of mine have had no ill effects from the op. It's a nuisance I know.

As an x-ray transcriptionist, I have had this same problem. What you do is press you wrist. Pressure point. Then massage each and every finger at the joint. It will hurt for a while, but eventually it will go away. I suggest your finger massage daily.

If you don't want to have surgery, get a brace at a medical supply store. They really help. I have carpel and I wear a brace at night while I sleep (or you can wear it all the time). Also, I'd suggest seeing a doctor.

Take 100mg of vitamin B6 everyday for 3 weeks. Position your hands at your keyboard so that your wrists are not bent. Try to keep your hands level and straight when typing.
