Quickbooks, for one...it's an accounting program

I know it's an MS-Office product but EXCEL!!! There is so much to learn and do with it and everyone uses it. Otherwise learning basic database language (SQL) would surely help you somewhere down the road. Maybe Crystal Reports? The more you know about computers and programs the more you can run circles around the old guys in the office!

Spellchecking and email. It's a deadly combination.

Keyboarding is very important, although not a software suite.

Accounting software like MS Money and Quickbooks might help as well.

IMHO, the biggest thing that a business major should know how to do is to make phonecalls and use CRM (customer relationship management) software, so something like ACT! is something that I would recommend to get familiar with.
