depends on who. If it was NORTH KOREA, then yeah... they are building nukes. If it was New Zealand? no, I'd assume they weren't.

are you seriously trying to make the accusation that the only reason we are so timid with Iran is because they are MUSLIM?!
We are allies with Afghanistan + Saudi Arabia + Yemen + United Arab of Emerites.. and prolly a few more.
Iran's Pres. has told the US + the UN that he has successfully created a nuclear powerplant. Its not hard to see... to create nuclear bombs, it takes atleast 300 centrifuges to create enough uranium to load a nuclear bomb. Those can be easily seen by Satelite pictures.. we saw them in Iraq too.. not as much, but more and more as time went on... thats why we eventually were forced into war...
He has also threatened Israel openly about it, after announcing that it could travel a distance of a few hundred miles past Jarusalem....
He threatened the US that if we didnt stop.. apparently, though just rumor... capturing Iranian Military Advisors in Iraq.. they would start an arms race with the US.
Mosad, Isreali's CIA, also assassinated Iran's top Nuclear Scientist.
Confirmed by Iran's President, but Iran's president said that the centrifuges were already set up and they had no use for him anyways.
Remember the Cold War? The Russians arent Muslim...
North Korea... they arent Muslim...
all were/are dangerous with Nuclear Bombs.
Stop defending Terrorists, especially when they have NUCLEAR BOMBS, LEFTIES!!!!

Really interesting question. You could say that the western mentality is opposed to everything and anything that is opposed western mentality.
Basically, any nation that the West does not see as democratic is a powerful opposition. Russia, during the cold war. Everything they did back then was considered "evil" and a "threat" to the democratic West. Now, that their market is open and they have a system of electing their presidents, we couldn't care less what Russia does. Iran and NK are behind today's Iron Curtain, it doesn't matter what they have.
Don't forget to take cover under your desks in the event of a nuclear attack.

Depends on the nation. If you're talking about a country like N. Korea--no. You'd have to be an idoit to trust theat regime.
But if your talking about a nation like Japan, Australia, Brazil... nations with stable political and economic systems that aren't looking for trouble--then yes.
And that goes for some Muslim countries as well--Jordan, for instance--though I'd be a little concerned-not because of the Jordan government (its one of the few in the region with any real sense)--but because they are in such an unstable part of the world. But they could be trusted--I'm not sure a facility there would be safe.

Yes I would.
To assume otherwise is to be like the proverbial ostrich with its head in the sand.
I doubt that any nation that is building it's own nuclear power plants is not also building bombs.

it would depend on their past forien affiars. Iran and North Korea are but being watched because they are a threat to National Security. Almost every devolped country has nuclear power plants and a few have bombs. But they are not feared since they have not challenged democracy.

Yes, depending on their history. So many people want to make this a race and religion prejudice issue. The FACT of the matter is that certain countries have caused us much more trouble than others, and many of these countries happen to contain Muslim followers.

But of course a fricking nut case like Ahjmedinejan of Iran is exponentially much more frightening may he rot in hell the son of a ......
