No, Russia would have 'Mollywood', as its capital city is Moscow.
Greece would have 'Athywood', Japan would have 'Tyokywood', and America would have 'Washywood'.

I think India copied Hollywood, and I never heard of the rest, but I suspect their names were made up after Bollywood. India makes more movies than anybody else, so they should be able to call it whatever they want. They have the weirdest movies I've ever seen, it could be a murder mystery and all of a sudden people will start dancing and singing. There's this really old lady named Latta Mangeskhar, who does most of the women's singing in the Indian movies, I heard she's in the book of world records for having more music recordings than anybody else. The movies are usually at least three hours long; most Americans don't have that kind of attention span; I know I don't. I saw an Indian movie in a theatre in India once; I think Indians have more fun with their movies than most people and they don't care if other people think their movies are silly.

I think some westerner came up with the nickname and it stuck. Bali is an Indoneasian island and might have lent its name to Indian films thanks to a stupid anglo with no knowlege of geography.
Besides, you are just being short-sighted. The country that gave us the zero to fill in box-office grosses can't be all bad.

With so many ideas floating around out there in the world, not everyone can come up with an original idea - but I do have to agree, it's taking the copycat themes to new levels...

Bombay Hollywood. They didn't really invent the name themselves. We (America) sorta forced that stupid nickname on them in the first place.
As far as "copying others" goes... what exactly are you talking about?
