(Yeah, I know, I'll probably piss a lot of people off with this one, but here goes...)
Good luck with that; I can't think of one good reason to be pro-abortion.
Life begins at conception. At conception, the child's entire genetic make-up is already pre-determined. That "clump of cells" already is a green-eyed redhead who has perpetually cold feet and loves green beans or a blue-eyed blonde who is shy but has musical talent, or whatever that genetic map suggests. When the human being's genetic make-up is already in place, how can you argue that it is only a clump of cells?
There is no such thing as an unwanted child. While that child may be unwanted by the parent, there are plenty of people who would love to adopt that child. Therefore, the whole "unwanted child" argument falls to pieces.
Abortion IS murder. There is no such thing as a right for a mother to terminate her child's life at any stage. It is absurd to suggest otherwise.
Sorry, I know you were looking for a rebuttal and instead I agreed with you, so I know I won't get "best answer" but I needed to say those things anyway. Dang, and I promised myself I wouldn't get into any debates on this website, too! You got me! :D

what is really weird is how the governement bends the rule about when a fetus is human or not. Example...scott peteerson was charged with TWO murders. Yet, the UNBORN child was never born. If laci would have wanted to walk into an abortion clinic the day before she disappeared, she could have, AND she could have got an abortion without her husbands permission.
Also, some states have laws that say a woman using illegal drugs while pregnant can be charged with Fetal Endangerment.
Yet, this same woman could totally destroy the fetus/child with an abortion and that is her RIGHT?????
The fetus is either protected under law (meaning NO ABORTION,,and if someone kills a pregnant woman, then they are charged with 2 murders)
or a fetus is considered NON human, in which case, if someone kills a pregnant woman they are chargeed with ONE murder.
Supreme Court is talking out of both sides of its mouth and it is HIGHLY UNINTELLIGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, Mr. Brando, I'm afraid I can't help you. :) There's no such thing as a logical or fact-based pro-abortion argument. However, if you'd like to see a compilation of favorite pro-abort arguments, along with pro-life answers to them, take a look at these links:

There is really no scientific debate at this point about when life begins:
http://abort73.com/HTML/I-A-1-medical.html
At every point after conception, we are human, we are alive, and we are growing. Nothing is added to us after conception except time and nutrition.
The average age of an aborted child in America is 10 weeks. By that point, the child has a beating heart (since 3 weeks), recordable brain waves and tiny fingers (since 6 weeks), and all his or her organs (since 8 weeks). She can suck her thumb and grasp an object placed in her palm. If her palm is pricked, she will open her mouth and pull her hand away.

Life does not begin at conception
If there were no abortions, there will be a lot of children born in this world in unhappy homes...where they are not wanted or cant afford to be taken care of. if the family decides to give the child up for adoption, then the child will most likely grow up in a group home....and there are way more kids that need to be adopted than the other way around.
If the child is severely disfigured and will have to be taken care of for the rest of his life....then abortion will be best because that child wont have to suffer
if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant...abortion will allow that not to be burdened with a child of a man who raped her.
if a women becomes pregnant...and the doctor says there will definitely be complications...then abortion will be a route to go if necessary
if a young girl is way too young to have children.....then abortion can give her a second chance on living her life
the government should not be allowed to determine what a woman can or can't do with her own body. it should be her choice if she wants to keep her own baby or not.

yes i believe that life begins at conception i mean thats a no brainer, but i am pro-choice for these reasons.
1. if the mother was raped i don't believe she should have to keep the baby.
2. if the birth will kill the mother and a choice has to be made.
3. if you know the child will have severe abnormalties and such.
so despite the fact that i don't like the idea of abortion i still beleive its ok in these situations.

Isn't it interesting that all of these folks that are for abortion weren't aborted. If we have too many people in the world kill yourself first, don't kill a baby that hasn't had a chance yet.
Stupid arguments about how they would be "poor" or "unwanted" so they'd be better off is pretty ballsy. How do you know they'd be better off? Death is preferrable to life? Having saline injected into your veins is more humane than being born poor? Wow, how do people come to these conclusions?
Next time anyone of you are out of money, or can't afford to buy something you want, stick a metal tube in the back of your head and suck out your brain, as that's more humane than you not having the ability to buy something. Hey, it's your argument not mine.

1- The government should not have authority over personal choices. 2- Men (it takes 2 to make a baby) need to take more responsibility for their actions. 3- People who are anti-abortion should support birth control & gov't programs to help the mother & child after its born.
