What do Aussies really think about Americans?

Question

I think it's time that Aussies stopped pretending to be everyone's mate and told Americans what they really think.

I could tell you what Aussies think of us (I'm an American living Australia and i promise you it wouldn't be pretty) but i want to see if any of them have the guts to fess up to the world and tell the truth.

cherryripe252000 - I doubt all the Aussies that nominated me for Australian of the Year & Woman of the Year would agree but that's a nice typical Aussie defense system (tall poppy syndrome) you've got going.

I see and hear the slurs towards Americans everday. I've been here for 5 years. Pretending it doesn't exist won't make it go away.

what?!? ok cool well this is what i think. i dont see people as a country.Ive met heaps of americans and they are all pretty sweet. Then you get some arrogant jerks who think they own the world ( like those stupid wannabe jocks you get on pathetic american teen movies) who ruin it for everyone. its not america we hate, its idiots like you who think you know better when you probably live in a trailer drinking beer all day and eating roadkill (if we are goign to stereotype anyway) Australians arent all from criminal background, and even so, at least not almost half our population NOW is now or has served prison time.

I don't know because I've never talk before to a kangaroo and to tell you the truth I don't care. You know why? They feel like they are royalty and everybody in that country have a jailbird in their background. Australia was founded as a prison and the worst of Britain back then was send over there. So why a should care about their opinion? Remind them their sorry ascendant and they'll shut up.
