Okay so I am totally in love with my teacher and i flirt with him all the time and the other day my friend told me it was like against some type of rules to flirt with your teacher, I guess she was just trying to scare me but she was so serious about it so now I gotta know.

There is no specific law that states flirting but for your benefit don't let it go past that. The consequences on what could happen would depend on your age. If you where in high school it would cause legal action against your teacher because parents leave their children in the trust of their teachers. If that trust is broken then that is jail time for the teachers not to mention losing their jobs. If you are out of high school than there may not be legal action but the rest would still apply. My advise, flirt elsewhere if you can.

it's an ethical issue if the teacher flirts back. As a professional they should not involve in such behaviors with students.
