Friendship...?

Question

How can i make my friends relationship and mine work...she is sooo nice and i want to be friends with her but we have gotten into many fights lately

i try to fix what i am doing wrong and i have asked her what to do many times

friends cant do without fighting but u guys need to sit down together and talk bout what has been going on lately, maybe she has been doing things that offends u or u have been doing things that offends her

We can be nice people but do not know how to have good relationships. It sounds like that is your problem with your friend. Both you and your friend need to find what is causing the fights. Don't just look for the the simple answer, what is the real problem. Then, make sure you are O.K. with you. Sometimes we look to have friends so bad because we don't like ourselves. You are worth having great friendships- if someone does not respect you enough to work on being a good friend to you, it may not be the right relationship for you two.

Why dont you make a deal with eachother that the minute one gets annoyed with the other you say it at that moment whats bothering you, work it out then end the fight. You can also have eachother make a list of what is upsetting to the other and make a pact to work on the problems. Remember, some friends just always fight, that might be the kind of relationship you have created and enjoy..

I think you should just sit down and talk. Not e-mail, not over the phone, but face to face. Each of you get out all you need to and then just talk about how you both might be able to fix something. This has happened to me to. But, one day we sat down and talked everything through, and now we are inseparable! Good luck, and I hope everything works out for both of you!
