Try a pawn shop!
I am thinking that if I had two INVERTERS that I would probably make it a note to visit a few truck stops and put a picture of them up along with a price.
I bet EVERY truck driver would love to have a good pair of them!
Camping, hunting fishing stores might have a few lookers.
If those are not options place an ad in your local paper.

I have seen several items for sale on the Board between the double doors in the supermarket when I go there.
Our town has a flea market that comes thru ever so often and then there are fixed ones that operate ever weekend. YOu should be able to find out if there are any by checking your local paper or asking around. YOu can go there and put them on a small table and you will probably find a buyer prior to noon for all of your things since most of the junk there is that cheap stuff that is made in some overseas sweatshop.

P.s. Ebay is not such a bad place and shipping (if they will fit into a sweater box) can be had for $8.50 to any place in the usa.
