Here's the link to the transcript of the testimony, from the senate itself.

Why didn't they plant WMD? Well, recall Fox News kept trying to tell us they were finding WMD, and Bush even referred to some of those false reports as finds. However, they couldn't plant them because the inspectors have detailed records about what/where/when was found and not found pre-war, what was destroyed, and what couldn't be accounted for.

This wouldn't surprise me. The US Government already concocted the worst terrorist ttacks the US has ever seen. Yes, I am talking about 911. I wouldn't put anything past Shrub boy.

Ironically, for an administration that has managed to keep its shoddy operations concealed well enough up to now, Bush revealed pretty much what is going to happen next through the State of the Union address.
A troop surge, an Iranian threat, no attempt to seek regional allies, no protection for Shiite militias.
Meaning: troops to specifically target Shiite militias, supplied by Iran (Shiites), and uni-lateral action against Iran.
Bush doesn't need to stage a terrorist attack on American soil, Iraq is enough of a powder keg already.

First, we know there is a National Security Council staff-led group whose mission is to create outrage in the world against Iran. Just like before Gulf II, this media group will begin to release stories to sell a strike against Iran. Watch for the outrage stuff.
The Patriot missiles going to the GCC states are only part of the missile defense assets. I would expect to see the deployment of some of the European-based missile defense assets to Israel, just as they were before Gulf II.
would expect deployment of additional USAF fighters into the bases in Iraq, maybe some into Afghanistan.
I think we will read about the deployment of some of the newly arriving Army brigades going into Iraq being deployed to the border with Iran. Their mission will be to guard against any Iranian movements into Iraq.
As one of the last steps before a strike, we’ll see USAF tankers moved to unusual places, like Bulgaria. These will be used to refuel the US-based B-2 bombers on their strike missions into Iran. When that happens, we’ll only be days away from a strike.
The White House could be telling the truth. Maybe there are no plans to take Iran to the next level. The fuel for a fire is in place, however. All we need is a spark. The danger is that we have created conditions that could lead to a Greater Middle East War.

Brzezinski is an old fool and so is anybody that believes this crap. Like Scarlett says, why didn't they plant WMDs if they wanted to conspire and convince the whole world that they were right?

I am smelling another war coming on. I don't think Americans are going to support this. I think that Bush will be forced to resign.

Brzezinski is as crazy as his former boss. He is downright delusional. Johnson did that. Clinton would have done that. George W Bush would never, under any circumstances do such a thing. He has far too much integrity. Something his enemies are incapable of understanding.

If there is an attack on the US I'll play it safe and assume it is from a foreign enemy. Besides, why didn't they then plant WMDs in Iraq if they were going to stage things in their favor?
