Long ago I heard a story of a girl with blue skin that was found in a cave in France. She spoke no French or any language that anyone could understand. They put her in a convent. Eventually her skin became normal.When she learned French she said that she came from a land where the ocean was the sky. Her people lived under the earth. She became lost and got sucked up a chimeny to the cave. She died a few years later. Does anyone have knowledge of this story?

This sounds vaguely familiar but I cannot place it either. Good question!
I do know that around the turn of the 20th century there was a cultish belief in a world under our own. Early sci-fi writers like Jules Vern and Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote stories about lands at the center of the Earth and lands that time forgot.
Supposedly there was a secret lush valley in Antarctica that was the entrance to get there and was claimed to be found by several explorers.

The way the story came to me was she could not speak. She was about 13 years old when the found her and her skin was not blue but greenish brown. She never learned French or English; not any language but the sounds of a sucking sound and a few syllables.
The only thing she adapted to was clothing and playing ball in the gardens. She would climb out of the window at night and howl at the moon. She was given a name but I don't remember what is was. This was not in France but England.
People say that she was so wild and uncivilized they let her disappear........ never again to be found.

I have heard of it but no sure if they ever proved her claim. I don't remember her skin becoming like ours. Some people believe other kids have been found. There was a show called Time Trax and they did a show semi based on this story. The girl was golden color and never spoke. She was rescued by her boyfriend and the Time cop. She was an alien from an advanced culture.

yea i have heard of this. i believe she had a brother or boy with her. they were abnormally close and the boy died before her. im gonna try to find the site for it and ill let you know.

Sounds like an Amazon woman? Blue as in color or blue as it sad? Maybe she used to live with big foot tribe.
