"Something" by the Beatles. That worked on me when I was in college. A boy from down the hall just walked into my dorm room with his accoustic guitar and started playing it. It was pretty hot.

depends on what songs the girl likes. if you're trying to serenade a girl, i think they'd like any song. a song that comes to mind would be "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton. You can get the chords pretty much anywhere online.
