try reseting it, there should be instructions on the ipod help website that will tell you how to do it for your particular model.

Charge it overnight or for a long time, if that doesn't help, take it to your nearest Apple store. They give out replacement iPods like nobody's business. If there's a legitamite problem with yours, you'll have no problem getting it taken care of. Good luck!

u may need a new battery. try turning it on while its hooked up, if no go, then let it charge overnight, then it should work. happened 2 my sis once, she charged it fully, then wouldn't turn on. she left it charging overnight (after a bout of hysterics), and was fine next day.
