If all of these things are true, why after we pulled out S VN is conquered by the communist, thousands of S VN are killed or died in their escapes? Are we making the same mistake now?

Bush wanted a war, he got one. Actually, he has two. He's looking to ruin the US. He's doing a d amn good job of that. Iraq will be looked on as the second Vietnam. This might last longer than Vietnam. He needs to be tried and convicted of war crimes along with his puppy Tony B-liar.

Actually our military never lost the war in Viet Nam, we lost politically not militarily, democrats voted to defund the war there and as a consequence 3 MILLION people died. The democrats want to do the same thing now. This is the only similarities in the two wars. It would be a huge mistake to pull out now.

A little history - The NV and VC were already well entrenched in SVN well before we pulled out. It was inevitable that there would be a bloodbath. The question was and still is in Iraq today - do we want our soldiers killed in the process? Back then the answer was no, and based on the last election, that answer is the same today.
