What colleges should I aim for if I were looking to do something in Psychiatrics? What Highschool classes should I try and take? Anything else that would help me get in? I'm looking for a decent college that doesn't cost too much money. And if you don't have any advice about things like that I'd be glad to hear a story from anyone who is in psychiatry about where they went to college and what they had to do to get there.

Thanks!

And I'm really interested in psychology and psychiatry and I've asked some of my friends and they all seem to think I would make a good psychiatrist.

Psychiatry is a medical specialty. You must be a medical doctor to be a psychiatrist. There are a lot of questions on here about how to become a doctor, what courses you have to take and all that. Just put medical school or doctor in the space above where it says 'search for questions' and you will get lots of answers without having to wait.! :)
