I was just sitting in my hot tub, surrounded by hundreds of forest trees...
when this huge wind storm blew in...it was awesome.
Lightening, thunder, snow, heavy rains and wind...am I the only one who just loves a good storm?
(Especially when your safe and indoors)

Not wind so much but thunder and lightening and snow storms are awsome to watch. It is a spectacle, its like a movie in the sky :P Nature provides us with entertainment that can far beat any tv programme or game console. You just have to be careful you are sheltered and aren't at risk of injury and/or lightening strike.

No, you're not the only one. Last summer I was in Ct., and it had been storming all week. But this one day, the thunder started like bombs going off, the lightning looked close but we were in a screened-in porch. And this kept going on, with breaks in between each one, for 2 hours! I've never seen anything like it in my life. It's one of the many wonders of nature!

Every now and then I really do. Especially when I know that it's not a bad one. I enoy a good light show. And when it thunders so loud that it makes you jump always cracks us up. Not so funny when it wakes you up out of a sound sleep and you nearly wet the bed, but any other time is funny.

I love thunderstorms. I like to sit outside(somewhere sheltered from the elements) and watch the lightening light up the sky. Where I live we don't get a lot of thunderstorms so I watch when ever I get the chance.There's something wild yet calming.I like it when my brother comes over and watches it too.He loves a good thunderstorm.My kids however are terrified.

Yes.....something about the raw power and excitement that sends energy and sublime beauty ....so dangerous but deadly too...its a strange curiosity that generates a sensation from within my soul! I am thrilled at the spectacle of the storms and the tremendous strength of nature at its best!!
Your not alone........look at all the movies,books,etc about this very topic....

Yes! Thunder & lightning, torrential downpour, the whole nine yards. I look out the door when a tornado comes around. I never was scared of the weather.

I do. I always have. I'm not sure I'd want to be out in a hot tub during one, however. If a tornado happened by & dislodged you from the tub- you might have some explaining to do to your local rescue workers! :)

You are right. I love those. I am so jealous of you. We don't get nearly enough of them where I live at. A good storm can make me feel at peace. It is something about it that is just unexplainable.
