*(Just in case you don't know, transported soils are soils eroded and deposited away from its parent bedrock. So, basically its soil that has been moved from where it originally formed.)*
In Earth Science we are studying the chapter on weathering, erosion, and soils, so the answer has to do with that. PLEASE HELP!!!

Much of what is now New York was under ice during the ice age. So the glaciers brought the soil from Canada.
