Just keep being the best friend to them that you can and eventually if they like you then you will know. i just went through that with someone and i stuck by their side for 5 years and we are now in a serious relationship.

talk to them, the same thing happened to me 6 months ago. talk to them and make eye contact.. get to know them better, thats what i did and me and my boyfriend have been dating for the past 4 months, become close friends first, so you dont seem like some stranger...

umm...sometimes, and i say this w/ extreme caution, u can get ur most trustworthy friend to kind of hint at it to see what the person you like says....but this cld go very very wrong.
