The US commitment to Israel goes as far back as the founding of that nation, so you can't blame either the Bush or Clinton administration for that. ( I don't think "most" would believe that Israel is giving "marching orders", after all they get over $1,000.000 a day in US handouts" )
Saudi Arabia is more concerned about US protection that they don't call the shots, as you imply.
They do however advise the administration on policy. ( for their self
interest )

Bush a liberal? With that expression and look on his face Please their is no comparison to President Clinton. I not the judge of looks but rather look at President Clinton,now ther is a liberal.I feel safer when i see Clinton it,,the feeling i get.
