with the TOPPS brand card i see there is a "chrome" number 165 ,, what is the non-chrome card # ?

Topps released a regular set and a chrome set back in 1998. The Chrome set is just the regular set with an added covering to the front of the card to make it very glossy.

However, in 1998, Topps and Topps Chrome were not entirely identical. The regular Topps set had 360 cards, with Manning being the last card (#360). In the Chrome set, only 165 cards were manufactured. Manning was the last card in that set as well (#165).

I own both cards, so it was easy for me to look at them. However, you can use Beckett's free online guide to check out the checklists for all the sets released from various years.

1998 Topps card number 360. Last card in the set Book Value $25. The Topps Chrome card number #165 is worth $40.
