It's driving me nuts! I have an addiction to Lord of the Rings, and I can't satisfy it! I need some activities! Obsessed LotR lovers only! (Please, if you think I'm wierd, don't post to say that!)

Hey! I love LOTR too. i think it totally rocks.

There are lots of different LOTR things. There is the strategy battle game from games workshop, which has lots of cool miniatures that you can paint yourself. Then there is the LOTR card game, which has lots of different characters. I myself like the art and pictures on the cards, just that it takes a while to get used to gameplay.

For computer game freaks, you can go and play Battle for Middle Earth 1 and 2, which are Real Time Strategy games where u get to control different units from the LOTR worlds. And there are also the various RPG games for each installation in the trilogy, which includes nice footages from the movies as cut scenes.

In case you havent read the other related books, you should try out the Silmarillion and the Hobbit, and also the various books written by Christopher Tolkien. While they may seem a little dryer when compared to the trilogy, they are just as interesting.

Lastly, I myself think that the most interesting thing for LOTR addicts to do is to go and learn Tolkien's version of Elvish. Which you can try to do by reading the appendices of the trilogy.

Have Fun!

Try finding out information on whether or not they're going to make a new version of the Hobbit, or try seeing if you can obtain the animated versions of all four movies (The Hobbit, and LoTR trilogy) - they're old, but they're out there.

Also try reading - if you liked the movies, you might like the books. And if you're into reading sci-fi / fantasy, try reading other authors like

Alan Dean Foster (The Spellsinger series)
Robert Jordan (The Wheel of Time series)
Simon R. Green (The Blue Moon Series, The Nightside series)
Raymond E. Feist (The World of Midkemia series)
The Dragonlance Saga (various authors, dozens of books)
and many more....

There's a game that I've heard was really good. Games are always a good satisfaction. Here's a website that looks awesome for any LOTR fans. http://www.tolkientown.com/ttc/Lord-of-the-Rings-Games/cPath/102.html
I've played the gamecube games and the Game Boy Advance game and I loved them. My husband has the board game, but I haven't gotten to play it yet. He said it was fun though.

I don't understand the problem. Why do you need activities? You have the Trilogy right? that's all you need.
