As far as actually MEETING celebrities, I've met Big Chuck and Little John many times at the Woollybear Festival in Vermillion, OH. And in October 2005 I met American Idol contestant Scott Savol, also at the Woollybear Festival and actually had my picture taken with him. And despite the badboy rap he got on the show, he's actually a sweetie in real life. My Dad and I just saw him standing behind the main stage with his family, when he must've just gotten there and we walked over to him and i asked if i could take a picture with him and he said it was fine; he even had his arm around me. Then afterward i thanked him for the picture and he was like "No,thank YOU". He was just flattered that i wanted my picture taken with him. How many people in Hollywood are like THAT??? I also once shook hands with the late Tiny Tim at the circus when i was young.
Celebrities that I've seen but didn't actually meet (unfortunately) were the new INXS with JD Fortune (saw them in concert in Cleveland last Spring), the cast of season 5 of American Idol (caught their tour in Cleveland last Summer),including Chris Daughtry (whom i'd love to see again if his band ever comes around this way). The coolest was going with my boyfriend to see Alice Cooper when he came to the Tower City Ampitheatre last October for "Freaker's Ball". If he comes around this year, we have to save up money for backstage passes so we could say "WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!" We would so do that :p

I've met some!
Um... lemme think... Ok, here's one!
Weird Al!
I went to see The Church and The Mighty Lemon Drops play at a club in Texas, and he was upstairs in the VIP lounge! He was real nice, a very fun and funny person, exactly like what you would imagine! We chatted for a while, and before he took off, he flopped on one of the sofas and spazzed! Kinda like a Tom Cruise sofa dance, only horizontal!

I met Vern Troyer "Mini Me" in Cincinnati at the convention center. I waited in line and got his autograph. He seemed very nice, he was quiet and seemed kind of shy. There were so many people so we didn't have time to say much.
I also met Harry Caray, the Chicago Cubs announcer with white hair and big glasses at Walt's Hitching Post (a local BBQ restaurant) in Kentucky. I was with my husband and his friend. Harry Caray reached across his table and pushed my husband and his friend out of the way and said, "She's the one I want to meet!" Then he reached his hand out and I put my hand out to shake his hand and he grabbed my hand and laid a big wet kiss on it! I was flattered and shocked but I will never forget meeting him.
Oh, I also met Pat O'Brien from Cannibal Corpse. He's a nice guy.

I've met a lot of famous paleontologists (Jack Horner, Peter Larson, Phil Currie)...people you've may seen on the Discovery Channel or something, or written books. To me, they're famous, but the masses normally don't think of them as celebrities.
I, on the other hand, got tongue tied and turned rather red on all occasions. They were all very nice, though...except Jack, who was grouchy.

Yes, but every time I meet them, I am unaware of who I just met. Like a pro wrestler (Jerry Lawler), a J-pop singer (Hokamoto Mayo), a band (Glay). I met Jerry at a Halloween party in Memphis, TN. I met Hokamoto Mayo at a Virgin Megastore in Shinjuku. And Glay at a night club (maybe Shibuya, I don't remember).

Had coffee with Bart Starr. I viewed him as a hero when I was a kid and to have met him was great. A short conversation left me with more respect for him. And after he left, I thought, if only today's athletes could be as sincere and impart as much wisdom during the same time frame. He is a superb model citizen and hero.

My dad used to work at the same place with Farrah Fawcett's dad, and we met as children at the company picnics. He also flag's roping's for George Strait from time to time, so I have met him. I met and had a cigarette break with Charlie Daniels, I don't smoke, but I was the one with the lighter. I have MS & have met Clay Walker, & Terri Garr through seminars as they have it as well. Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn at CD signings at our stores. There's a couple of other's, but have brainlock at the moment!

Yes a few... I met Peter Rickle, Bo Brady from Days of Our Lives at a food expo in Toledo Ohio. I have met the country band Ricochet and partied so hard with them in a showclub my company owned, they came to perform there! I have met Dick Dale, who did the hard guitar soundtrack on Pulp Fiction, at a theater my company owned and he tried to get me to come to his hotel with him... lol. He is in his 70s.
Have you ever met someone famous?
