Super movie! Robin Williams at his best. The Guatamalan Manservent, Agador. And to see Gene Hackman in a wig--to die for. Loved it so much I bought it.

If you like Birdcage you should watch the french original movies
La Cage aux Folles the sequl, even with subtitles are hysterically funny!
One online review by somebody who has seen both said:
If you love The Birdcage, then you will go nuts for La Cage Aux Folles! It is so much better than the American remake, you won't believe. "
And if you liked Birdcage, you'll also enjoy Prisilla Queen of the Desert [the costumes won the oscar that year with good reason] and Victor Victoria! Robert Preston is at his VERY best as the old queen Toddy!

Good stuff a movie where Robin Williams didn't go over the edge to try and do his same old routine that you see in every movie he does!

Its one of my favorites. I own a copy. I love Robin and Nathan. - They are both excellent actors.

i thought the acting was very well and Robin took a huge chance playing the role and thats what makes him one of the funniest men alive
he is just him self ....(all of him self)
