he's a big time legit center who will become the best center in the league shortly and is a defensive POWER HOUSE
the celtics need an anchor
Jefferson is their power forward
Pierce and Oden can be a force in the east
you don't pass on a legit center when centers are RARE

Kevin Durant without a doubt. The reason is Durant can shoot the three, rebound, penetrate to the basket every time he touches the ball. He's a true leader on the court. His offensive skills are incredible. I put him up there with those elite players like T Mac, The Truth,Carmelo Anthony, Ray Allen, and yes Lebron James. With all do respect for Greg Oden, I just have that feeling Durant is the guy the Paul Pierce needs to get a ring.

it is much safer to choose Greg Oden just because i heard that Kevin durant may not go to the NBA and celtics need a inside game more then anything. Kevin Durant is a great basketball player and he deserves to be on a team that is will to win games and the only way the celtics are going to win games is attacking the inside and Greg Oden is the man for the job.

As long as pierce is still with the Celtics they should take Oden, he's just a better building block, Great centers are too hard to find

I see Al Jefferson becoming a possible amare Stoudamire in the future, so he fills the center position. Green, I think they should push into the starting lineup as small forward or shooting guard. Pierce could easily be traded and they could still fill another need, so I feel Durant for them, to become their next star.
